To see all our vacancies please click here.   Nacro Kickstart provides another great result The Synergy Group solutions team delivered another successful Kickstart assessment day for Nacro on 26th of August at the Nottingham Voluntary Action Centre. 55 local candidates were invited to attend the day having successfully passed the pre-selection process. To identify the best candidates for the 5 Trainee Project Worker posts they participated in a number of assessments including group behavioural exercises, numeracy and literacy tests followed by a final interview with the Nacro team. The selected candidates will undertake a 6 month contract as Trainee Support Workers. More	PRTL Event goes down well in Leeds The Synergy Group recently held its inaugural training seminar Supervision skills for social workers at their offices in Leeds.  Having surveyed over 200 Social Workers over the 2nd quarter of 2009 Synergy established that there is a real need for PRTL events across the country. 57% of those who took part agreed that they found it ‘very difficult’ to find PRTL events that fit around their working hours. In response to this the Social Care recruitment team at The Synergy Group decided that they would hold a schedule of weekend training events aimed at QSWs looking to keep their training and learning up-to-date in order to re-register with the GSCC after the initial three-year period. More Is the public sector more desirable to work in than the public sector? Recent statistics posted just last week show that in many respects the public sector is the place to be in terms of providing new opportunities and increased job stability. Additionally, the time to move to the public sector may be now, with 63% of employers confirming they have noticed an upturn in applications. More Medway Council recruit six through Kickstart The recent Kickstart campaign for Medway Council got off to an encouraging start with 38 people attending arguably the grandest setting for an Assessment Day yet – the St George’s Centre, Chatham Maritime. This old navy chapel remains a naval memorial centre, managed by the Local Authority, and is rich with windows and memorials dedicated to naval personnel. The objective was to recruit 10 candidates for Trainee Housing Information Officer roles at Medway Council, and as usual, the Kickstart team didn’t disappoint. More
